Eurobitume operates three expert committees:

Each dedicated to intensive programmes, to provide guidance and support for members and their customers.

These committees research the scientific and technical issues relating to the handling, application and long-term use of bitumen. They produce relevant data for regulators, along with expert advice and practical guidelines to inform best practice throughout the European bitumen industry.

The HSE Committee provides a central focus for the support and systematic review of European and international studies on all pertinent aspects of key issues such as occupational health, recycling and environmental management, as they relate to bituminous binders. The work of the Technical Committee includes establishing the European bitumen industry position on matters such as performance-based standards, specifications, binder selection systems and characterisation tools.
